For the last two years, Bad Character Scanner Codebase inc. has used FMM™ (Fractal Morphological Machine) technology for cybersecurity (DevSecOps). However, we have now discovered that FMM’s have the potential to be used as general-purpose problem-solving algorithms that can compete with LLMs in a variety of fields. Examples include AI-powered spell checking tools (such as Grammarly and DeepL), which are now competitors of BCSC. That's why we're launching Bcorrect, a grammar and spelling correction API powered by fractal mathematics. It's the first proof that FMM technology can be generalised for other purposes. It is also the first step in a long journey to demonstrate that 100% Canadian AI technology can compete with the best in the world. Hosted on Canadian servers and trained purely on in-house data, FMM is nearly 1,300 times more efficient than LLMs when it comes to spell-checking and many other tasks.
